Enthusiast Program
All Enthusiast events feature racing on Track 3 and Track 5, two exciting combinations
of Tracks 1 and 2.
Monthly Run-Offs
The aim of the Monthly Run-Offs is to pitch the most closely matched
drivers together in terms of skill, experience and, of course, weight in a competition
that highlights speed, consistency and the ability to race. Those drivers with a
ProScore in excess of 200 will be eligible to race in the Pro Division, while those
with a ProScore under 200 will be eligible to race in the Club Division. Both Divisions
will feature weight classes to ensure the closest matched competition.
What about those with a ProScore between 180 and 200? These drivers have a choice;
they can choose to compete in either Division. This should ensure that one bad evening
will not exclude a driver from the Pro Division, while allowing those drivers that
want to challenge themselves by competing with the best.
The Club Division Monthly Run-Offs will take place on the 1st Monday of the month,
while the Pro Division Monthly Run-Offs will take place on the 3rd Monday of the
month ? please see Entry Form for exact dates.
During the Monthly Run-Off event each driver will take part in three rounds of racing.
Round 1 will comprise two timed Qualifying races with the finishing position in
each race determined by a driver?s single fastest lap. The results from the Round
1 will determine the Grid Order for Round 2, a 12 lap race by position. The finishing
order of Round 2 sets the Grid for Round 3, the feature race of the evening.
Round 3 is a 30 lap winner takes all race, the finishing positions determining the
Monthly Run-Off Champion and Runners up. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers
in each class.
Iron Man Race
The ultimate test of a driver?s skill, speed and consistency. After a 10 minute
timed practice to set the grid, drivers will race for 100 laps straight ? no fuel
stops, no driver changes, no bathroom breaks!
Drivers? compete in two weight classes (heavy and light) and trophies are awarded
to the top finishers in each class, along with the Clubman Award for the highest
finishing driver with a ProScore under 200.
Team Endurance Race
Got friends? Are they fast? Are they consistent? Not that it matters, as the 200
Lap Team Endurance races are great fun no matter where you finish.
The better the blend of teamwork, consistency and outright speed the more likely
it is that you?ll be competing for overall honors. Each event features timed practice,
with the fastest team taking Pole Position. The race itself is over 200 laps, with
teams strategizing when to change drivers and re-fuel; with a 5 driver change prerequisite,
driver changes become instrumental in determining victory.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams, along with a ?Clubman? Trophy to
the highest placed team with an average driver ProScore of less than 150.
